Annapurna Ghorepani Poon Trek lies 17 kilometers from the district capital of Beni at an elevation of about 3210m near to Ghorepani Village. The Poon hill trekking trail lies within the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) and contains several guesthouses that provide accommodation and meals for the trekkers, many of whom spend the night before a pre-dawn trek to the top of nearby Poon Hill 3210m to watch the sunrise.
